Health And Safety Risk Assessment

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 places a duty on employers to assess and manage risks to their employees and others arising from work activities.
Compliance with these regulations requires employers to carry out a suitable and sufficient risk assessment and where they employ more than 5 employees the significant findings should be recorded.
Employers must make information available to employees on the risks identified and precautions taken.

The Health and Safety risk assessment considers the hazards associated with the external environment, the working environment including clinical areas, security  of the premises, emergency provision, facilities and equipment.

Significant hazards are recorded with suggested control measures to minimise or eliminate the risk of harm.

The risk assessment will take approximately 3 hours depending on the size of the premises.
