Preparing for CQC/HIW

The aim of this session is to support the dental team in preparing for a CQC/HIW inspection, including an audit on your current compliance with a focus on the fundamental standards (England)/Health and Care Standards (Wales)

On completion delegates will be able to:

Identify the aims and objectives of the inspector during their visit.

Outline the inspection process.

Recognise sources of evidence that may be required during an inspection.

Review the organisation of practice policies.

Identify areas of observation during the inspection.

Answer key questions an inspector may ask staff members.

Review common inspection findings.
