RIDDOR & Accident Reporting

This course aims to raise awareness of the duties that apply under RIDDOR, and the procedure for recording accidents, incidents and near misses.

Learning Objectives


On completion delegates will be able to:

  • Outline legal duties under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations
  • Identify what must be reported and why
  • Describe the steps to take to report an accident or incident
  • Recognise the importance of recording accidents, incidents, significant events and near-misses
